500miles
Cassiar Hywy 37:
The road is a small 2 lane road with Occasional potholes, patches of gravel spots and one lane bridges. Jeff says it's a pretty good road but we are averaging 50 miles per hr.
Spoke to soon: After Dease Lake the road sucks!
Road project 20 miles. We are happy we did not bring our trailer.
We are seeing lots of wabits!πΎ
WOW!! We just saw a 40ft Motorhome going opposite direction then us, with his slides out!π¨ Mmmm!
Jeff thinks skitters got to him and he's in a hurry to get out of here!!
8:46am: We saw a Black bear 40 miles north of Dease Lake walking on the side of the road. Close! Awesome! πΎπΎ
5 miles north of Boya lake dead trees. Lots of DEAD trees!! Fire?
10:30am: We are in the Yukon. We are now getting on Hywy 1 Alaska Highway. First 7 miles west was gravel. So far after 7 miles it's a big 2 lane Hywy. Not bad at all!!
We ended up making it to Whitehorse Yukon. We are presently at the High country RV park. We got the last campsite. $21 CAN
These antique military vehicles were through out the campground.
