Day 3: July 6, 2016
Depart: Fort Fraser(Beaumont provincial park)  Arrive:Iskut, BC =470 miles

We are on the road again. The very first 20 miles we spotted deer, an eagle and Jeff saw a moose in someone's barn. I do question The moose sighting!!



So far the terrain is treed hills and lots of big lakes.
9:33am--we just saw a fox just off the road 29km east from Housten, BC.
Highway 37 LOST CELL SERVICE!!

Camped @ Mountain Shadow RV park & campground in ISKUT BC. $22 night. Had shower 2min for a lonie! Nice campground and beautiful setting. Took Cisco for walk to the lake, where we saw about 5 Eagles up in the trees. Cisco was on a tight leash.😁




Skitters loved Jeff!!! It is a skitter haven here.

NOTE: The last post did not show the Pictures and at this time I am not sure how to make it happen. So I am going to try it again in a different manner and see if my pictures will show up. Please remember this is all new to
me and I really don't know what I am doing. Also, we have not had good wifi or cell coverage in order to post. So I am presently sitting in a parking lot with my cell wifi on. I am in the WILD COUNTRY! LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!

Day 46: Aug 18 (Whitehorse, YK - Fort Nelson, BC) 610 miles

This morning we were up early on our way to the bathroom and a fox was about 4 feet from Jeff. He thought it was going to come right up to him and then it saw me and walked around us to eat some berries about 12 feet from us. Of course by the time I got to my camera he was gone. Awesome Sauce!! Whitehorse to Fort Nelson: At Johnson's Crossing we stopped and picked up some goodies at the Bakery. The Cherry and Apple turnovers were delicious. Cinnamon Rolls were also good. Scones we did not care for. Good place to check out. This rest stop was just down the road from this bakery. I loved the way it was landscaped! The gravel road on the left of this sign is highway 6 to Ross River, Yukon. Yep its gravel all the way. This was on the road by Swift River. We stopped to get a good picture of the bridge below and decided to explore this RV park. We drove thru it and the Container RV was parked in one of the spots. Day 4: July 7, 2016 Dep: Iskut, BC-6am  Arrive: Whitehorse Yukon 500miles Cassiar Hywy 37: The road is a small 2 lane road with Occasional potholes, patches of gravel spots and one lane bridges.  Jeff says it's a pretty good road but we are averaging 50 miles per hr. Spoke to soon: After Dease Lake the road sucks!  Road project 20 miles. We are happy we did not bring our trailer. We are seeing lots of wabits! 🐾 WOW!! We just saw a 40ft Motorhome going opposite direction then us, with his slides out! 😨  Mmmm! Jeff thinks skitters got to him and he's in a hurry to get out of here!! 8:46am : We saw a Black bear 40 miles north of Dease Lake walking on the side of the road. Close! Awesome!  🐾🐾 5 miles north of Boya lake dead trees. Lots of DEAD trees!! Fire? 10:30am : We are in the Yukon. We are now getting on Hywy  1 Alaska Highway . First 7 miles west was gravel. So far after 7 miles it's a big 2 lane Hywy. Not bad ...

Day 42: Aug 14 (Beach House)

Day 42: Aug 14 (Beach House)  Jeff, Don and I spent Sunday at the Beach House hanging out and relaxing after the big fishing days. We had Don and Jan over for left overs Sunday night at the Beach House, our home away from home. Yep, you heard it right. Leftovers! Don(brother) is leaving on Monday and we are leaving on Tuesday, so we had to eat our left overs.  Don and Jan did not seem to mind, in fact they brought there left overs to.  Views from the Beach House: Pictures of the Beach House: This door reminds me of Mr Ed. You know the show with the talking horse. Actually years ago Jan said a Moose stuck its head in this door.
